Ø I am a 4th Year PhD student in the Department of Computer Sciences, State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Ø I received my MS degree in Computer Science from the same
department.
Ø I received my BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering
from Department of Computer Science
and Engineering, Bangladesh
University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Research

My research is focused towards
Applied Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Web Mining and Web
Accessibility.

My PhD supervisor is Professor I.V. Ramakrishnan . I work
in HearSay and Toxin Knowledge Base (TKB) project with Dr. Ramakrishnan.

I have worked with Professor David S. Warren and
Professor C.R. Ramakrishnan
in Deductive Spreadsheet (DSS) Project.

I am working in Applied Logic Lab as a Research Assistant.

This year I worked in IBM T.J. Watson Research, as a
summer intern.

Last year I worked in Google Inc , as a summer intern.
Accomplishments

am co-inventor of two invention disclosures which are approved for filing
as US patent.

am co-author of papers which are nominated for Best Paper Award in WWW'06
and WWW'07.

Our HearSay system wins
delegates Award in W4A Web Accessibility Challenge Competition.

received Excellence in Graduate Research Award from Department of
Computer Science, Stony Brook University.
