| Description | This course provides an introduction to programming patterns often encountered in software systems. It presents the role of patterns and introduces patterns used by computer scientists and softwate engineers. The course covers a wide breadth of program types including user interfaces, numerical computing, event handling, and use of varied data structures. Patterns developed during the course are predominantly object-oriented patterns, including factory, facade, and many others. |
