Help Desk


The Computer Science and Information Systems departments run a Help Desk where a teaching assistant (TA) will be available to assist with problems relating to all 100 and 200 level CS courses. You can ask about class material, homework hints, lab procedures, operating systems, editors, cryptic compiler error messages, etc.

These Help Desk TAs are in addition to the TA hours specific to individual classes. To find your course TA's office hours, see the web page for your specific course.

Where: The Help Desk TA will be somewhere in room CS 2110, but could be in any one of its four sub-rooms, so you may have to ask to find the right TA.

When: The Fall 2008 schedule is listed below. There will be no TAs on days when classes are not in session:

  • Mondays: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
  • Tuesdays: None
  • Wednesdays: 12:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Thursdays: None
  • Fridays: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Who: Noopur Motiyani

How: Just walk in. No appointment is needed.
