Installation
Unzip the package and run setup. The installation requires administrator's privilege.
Brief manual
Load one data set.
While the focus in the volume rendering view (the bottom right one)
Press and drag the right mouse button to change the transfer
function. Moving vertically and moving horizontally correspond to
changing the window and level respectively.
Press and drag the left mouse button to rotate.
Shift+left button to translate
Middle button and wheel to zoom and zoom out
Press "l" to toggle on or off lighting
Press "g" to toggle on or off gradient magnitude
modulation
Press "n" to set the rendering mode to normal (without
the acceleration)
Press "B" to set the rendering mode to boxed slices
(2D textures)
Press 'b' to set the rendering mode to boxes in BSP tree (3D
textures)
Press '3' to toggle between 2D and 3D textures (without the
acceleration).
Press 'w" to show the wire frame of the boxes
Press '+' or '-' to change the sampling distance.
Press 'o' to turn on and off occlusion clipping.
Press 'x' to display the bounding box of the data set.
While the focus in the transfer function view
Press 'w' to switch between color curves and Kniss's transfer
function widgets.
When using the transfer function widgets, press '2' to toggle
between 1D and 2D transfer functions. This only works for 3D
textures.
