Policies: Regular lecture and lab attendance is essential or you will probably fail the course. You are encouraged to work together discussing the ideas and techniques for all homework assignments and programming projects, but then write your own solutions rather than copying a group solution.

Web resources: If you want to install FTP, Telnet, or SSH on your PC, you can download them from the SINC software web page or the direct SoftWeb link .  (SSH is recommended because it functions as Telnet and FTP, yet encrypts your data so it is secure.)

If you want to install a java compiler on your PC, you can download the SDK  from Sun's website
