ANNOUNCEMENTS for Fall 2009 (Nov 21, 5pm)
==> Ex-2 will be given back Tuesday in our Lab-sessions.
This week only ex-2 solutions will be discussed.
Lab sections 1 and 2 meet at 11.20am Nov 24.
Lab sections 3 and 4 meet at 12.50pm Nov 24.
Lab sections 5 and 6 meet at 2.20am Nov 24.
==> Lab-9 has been posted. It is due Nov 23 at 11.30am.
==> Reading List for Ex-2 has been updated.
==> Solutions to HW-4 have been posted.
==> Solutions to Lab-8 have been posted.
==> Ex-2 has been graded. Average is 47.24 out of maximum
possible 72. Highest score is 71. Lowest score is
6. In all 13 students got above 65, and 10 got below 25.
==> Ex-2 solutions will be posted Tuesday Nov 24.
Read them before you ask for a regrade.
==> Regrading Policy: You have one week from the day you
get your exam back. Write question numbers on the front
page of your exam that you want us to regrade. Give your
exam back to any TA or instructor. Entire exam will be
regraded. Also there is a penalty of -5 for useless
regrading requests. Read solutions carefully before you
ask for a regrade.
==> Your account on sparky can be accessed using
your NetId and the password. The host name/address
is sparky.ic.sunysb.edu Use this name for telnet,
ssh or similar connection.
==> Visit any sinc-site and make sure that your sparky
account works (not for just e-mail), trying out your
password. All programming assignments are to be
handed in electronically from your sparky account,
and NOT via an e-mail.
