About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Stony Brook University.

My area of interest is Networking, more specifically Cellular Networks, Wireless Networks, and Ad-Hoc Networks. My long term research goal is to devise methods to improve cellular data transmissions, for both users and the environment, by bridging the gap between theory and practice. In particular, I plan to provide methods to improve efficiency of the new 4G protocols, at all levels of cellular networks, with both theoretical guarantees and experimental evidence. I am also interested in Green Computing and plan to find new solutions to save energy in different network components.

I am currently working on my dissertation, entitled Efficient Resource Allocation for Cellular Networks, under the guidance of Prof. Himanshu Gupta.

Research Interests

Cellular Networks, Wireless Networks, Ad-Hoc Networks, Computer Networks, Green Computing.
