Solution: Disable "View in browser" feature

Click “Start” -> “All Programs” and Open “Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro”
Goto “Edit” -> “Preferences”
Choose “Internet” in the left-side category list as shown below.

Uncheck the “Display PDF in browser” checkbox.
Click “Ok”.
Now PDF’s will open outside the browser in Internet Explorer.
