This project is my final year project and the project involves developing a Workflow Management System which is called the XDoC-WFMS, The XML Document Centric Workflow Management System under Dr Kamal Karlapalem.

The project involves the conceptualization and implementation of a workflow management system. Workflow Management Systems are huge complex software, which handle business transactions and flow of work through organizations. New technologies, which affect the business model, have to be incorporated into the Workflow management system. This is essential both for efficiency and the profitability of the Business Process. The problem was to develop an XML Document Centric Workflow Management System.
A Document Centric Workflow Management System implies that the document flow in the Workflow is explicitly modeled, and the activities of the workflow center both on document-based activities and on other activities. More information on this is given in the attached documents.
