Research Interests

I'm working in the area of volume visualization and medical imaging, with Prof. Klaus Mueller as my advisor. My current interests include

• Filter, anti-aliasing and features extraction with high-frequency dataset
• Visualization of refraction in transparent objects
• Reconstruction of ultrasound images with refraction correction, using wave equations and SART 
• Acceleration with fine-grained multi-threaded parallel computing using GPU (computer graphics unit)

In the past few years, my research interests also lied on the binary security system, computer architecture and design.
