CBAC:

This framework for access control mediates access to objects based on the features of the object itself and others.
This allows increased flexibility in policy specification to meet the needs of content driven systems. Read more

PLOG: Privacy/Policy aware bLOGging
This will be one of the first CBAC enabled systems. We are looking in to creating a blogging system where access
is based on affinity. This will engender natural and intuitive access policies like "share my entries about heavy-metal
music with other fans of heavy-metal".
Wikipedia Integrity Project
Wikipedia is a fantastic web encylopedia resource that has been favorably compared with private encyclopedic resources.
It's strength and weakness lies within its largely "honor code" policy for editing entries. The concern
is that as it popularity continues to increase, it's reliability could suffer from vandalism from malicious users.
To this end we are investigating the space of attacks on this type of system and looking for solutions to prevent more
subtle acts of vadalism beyond profanity.
