Miscellaneous
Stony Brook University has found itself in the company of the world's great educational institutions. The Times Higher Education Supplement recently listed Stony Brook 76th in the world (24th in the US) for Science.
Each year our Computer Science Department hosts a Computer Game Programming Contest for students interested in game development. Contest rules as well as results from the Spring 2007, 2006, 2005, & 2004 semesters are posted for you to peruse and even play.
I'm also a member of the International Game Developer's Association. I usually attend events held by the New York City Chapter.
A project I worked on named Fast Digital Image Inpainting, appeared in Proceedings of the International Conference on Visualization, Imaging and Image Processing (VIIP 2001), Marbella, Spain. September 3-5, 2001
Personal
Ever been to Newfoundland (Pronounced "Newfin - Land")? I went there one summer on a memorable trip. I've posted some photos and commentary for those bored or overly curious.
Val & I took another great trip across the country. Oh, and we got married, too. I have photos and commentary for that trip as well, including my wedding photo.
Need a dollhouse? Go to Kellogg's Dolls' Houses in Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
