Most of my recent publications are related to various forms of wireless networking, including WLAN, mesh, ad hoc, vehicular and sensor networks, and dynamic spectrum access systems. Earlier, I also published on parallel discrete event simulation. Most of the recent papers are online.

| Where I have been |
I was educated at Jadavpur University in Kolkata (Calcutta) and Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. I got my PhD in computer science from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I also worked briefly in Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata (Calcutta). Prior to Stony Brook, I was a faculty member in Computer Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio and then in Computer Engineering at University of Cincinnati.
