Note that homeworks should be entirely individual effort. You should not discuss them with anybody, other than the TA or the instructor. The answers should be succinct and not long-winded (say, about 1-2 paras per sub-question is usually sufficient). Examples/figures will work well, where applicable. All sources that you got substantial help from must be cited.

BGP: The AS paths in BGP adhere to specific patterns due to specific nature of export policies. What are these patterns? What is the valley-free property of AS-paths? If there is no valley, where is the "top-of-the-hill"? [The readings should be sufficient to answer this question.]
Problems from textbook: Solve P32, P34, P38 from chapter 4 of the 4th edition of the textbook. (Problems 29, 31, 35 in the 3rd edition). Please use the US edition of the textbook. If you solve a different set of problems, you will not get any grade.
