Course grades will be based on a combination of:
• written homework assignments (20%)
• two midterm exams and a final exam (45%)
• a final programming project with an oral presentation (25%)
• class participation and quizzes (10%)
Each assignment contributes points to a student’s final grade (there are 200 points available in all). The number of points earned at the end of the semester, divided by 2, will determine the student’s final letter grade, based on the table below.
