This page complements my academic info.

I was born in Antalya, the most beautiful place on earth, in 1985.

I have attended both primary school and high school (Antalya Anatolian High School) in Antalya, and then I completed my undergraduate in Istanbul at Sabanci University.

Apart from these school-related stuff, I should stress that one of the most important things in my life is Besiktas JK since I have been a kid. You, reading the page, might be an American, well I do not care, that game is called football! My favorite football player of all time is Marco Van Basten, although I have not seen much of him live. And from Turkey, Mehmet Ozdilek, nicknamed Scifo Mehmet.

Well, another crucial point in my life is music. Although I have a special page for music, let me summarize. I like classic rock the most, my favorite band being Queen. Pink Floyd and Deep Purple share second place, but I should confess that I tend to listen to Deep Purple more. Although not extreme types, I enjoy listening to jazz music, mostly the standards like Gershwin songs, however my favorite jazz musician of all time is Miles Davis.

I enjoy watching movies a lot, too. Again although a special movies page exists, to summarize, my favorite movie of all time is The Godfather by Francis Ford Coppola (and the story by Mario Puzo). In general, I like close-to-real-life dramas with very good acting, plus the screenplay plays an important role for my taste.

When it comes to books, I tend to be more reluctant to say I like books, because I do NOT read fiction (which means I very rarely (rare means really rare) do) and when I read non-fiction, it either takes me a very long time, or a very short time. Depending on the structure of the book, I do lose my concentration a lot, which directs me to other things instead of reading so I must confess I am not a good reader. I do have a books page, too.
