Irina Kostitsyna, President
Irina is a 2nd year PhD student interested in the field of Computational Geometry. Her adviser is Joe Mitchell. She got her bachelor and master degrees from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Irina plays ping pong and enjoys mountain skiing.



Jianing Guo, Vice-President
Jianing is an undergraduate junior in Computer Science with concentration of study in information assurance. Her minor is Studio Art. Jianing enjoys painting and drawing. She loves sports, especially swimming, which makes her feel like a fish. Jianing is from China.



Yuwei 'Ethan' Gui, Treasurer
Yuwei's girlfriend has the same name, that's why friends call him Ethan. Ethan is a junior at Stony Brook University majoring in Computer Science with a concentration on Information Assurance. He likes traveling, and he's also a big fan of video games! Stocks and Futures are also on Ethan's TOP list.



Avanthi Gupta, Secretary
Avanthi is enrolled in the masters program. She is from India and landed in US in Jan 08. She works in the Applied Logic Lab and her advisor is Prof. IV Ramakrishnan.
She loves meeting new people from different walks of life and in the process of wanting to meet more people. She has taken part in events like being a Student Ambassador for the International Orientation and also joined a few other clubs! She also loves reading mystery novels and cooking... but in her spare time she loves sleeping!
Erin Golub, Grad Representative
Erin is a 3rd year graduate student interested in the field of Computer Vision and Image Retrieval. Her adviser is Tamara Berg. In any given day you can find her somewhere in the visualization lab (it is very big though so you might have to search for some time...) She got her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2006 in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in French. For the past eight years, Erin lived in Virginia, and Massachusetts, but she is originally from Moscow, Russia. Besides courses, teaching and doing research, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and her two beautiful baby girls, Anya and Alyssa, born in September 2008.
Jennifer Wong, Faculty Advisor
Jennifer Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department. She joined the department in the Fall of 2006. Her research interests include Non-parametric Statistical Modeling for Optimization Tasks, Wireless Distributed Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks and Embedded Systems and CAD.
