Muse Numsin, President
Muse is an undergraduate junior in WISE and the CS honor program. She was deeply inspired to be a CS major because of the movie Live Free or Die Hard. You know, when a genius programmer saves the world, it's just so cool!! Muse is very passionate about robotics and 3D computer graphics. She also likes to be active and has a habit of getting herself into some adventures from time to time. Despite her height and size, she also loves playing basketball and trying different cuisines.
Varsha Paidi, Vice President
Varsha is a junior undergraduate student double majoring in Computer Science & Applied Math & Statistics(AMS). She is actively involved on campus activities/positions exploring new opportunities on the horizon . She had been a TA for two of the computer science courses CSE 215 and CSE 114. She enjoys watching super hero movies, reading novels and spending time with friends. Being a CS major, she is hoping to one day build a software that prevents unethical hacking!
Jennifer Kuo, Secretary
Jennifer Kuo is an undergraduate sophomore majoring in Computer Science. She enjoys watching anime, reading manga, and hanging out with friends on her free time. While she has many reasons for learning CompSci, one of them is hoping to one day be able to code a NetNavi =)
Jennifer Mahr, Public Relation
Jennifer is a fourth year Information Systems student set to graduate December of 2012. Outside of WiCS, she is a senior representative for CASB. She likes trying new MMORPGs, watching anime, and following up on Korean idols. Since she is graduating very soon, all interview opportunities for internships and full-time jobs are much appreciated!
Yoomi Jung, Web Master
Yoomi is an undergraduate senior student who is majoring computer science (of course). She loves to cook foods and bake yummy cookies. Fall 2012 is her last semester, so she is busy finding a full-time job.
Jiemin Zeng, Grad Representative
Jiemin Zeng is a first year PhD student in Computer Science. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at UNC-Chapel Hill where she was also the president of the undergraduate women in computer science club. When she is not working, Jiemin enjoys jogging, watching TV, cooking/baking elaborate dishes, and playing nerdy games with her friends.
Jennifer Wong, WiCS Advisor
Jennifer Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department. She joined the department in the Fall of 2006. Her research interests include Non-parametric Statistical Modeling for Optimization Tasks, Wireless Distributed Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks and Embedded Systems and CAD.
