Irina Kostitsyna, President
Irina is a 4th year PhD student interested in the field of Computational
Geometry. Her adviser is Joe Mitchell. She got her bachelor and master
degrees from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Irina plays ping pong and enjoys mountain skiing.

Muse Numsin, Vice-President
Muse is an undergraduate freshman in WISE and the CS honor program. She was
deeply inspired to be a CS major because of the movie Live Free or Die
Hard. You know, when a genius programmer saves the world, it's just so
cool!! Muse is very passionate about robotics and 3D computer graphics.
She also likes to be active and has a habit of getting herself into
some adventures from time to time. Despite her height and size, she also
loves playing basketball and trying different cuisines.

Yury Puzis, Treasurer
Yury is a 3rd year PhD student, concentrating in the fields of
artificial intelligence and accessibility. His interests include
Ping-pong, ballroom dancing, and several other extreme sports. Yury is
from Ukraine, Israel and Miami and therefore in his spare time he
programs in Russian, Hebrew and Miamian languages.
Debaleena Chattopadhyay, Secretary
Debaleena is a graduate
student interested in the field of Computer Vision and Machine
Learning. She is from India and she joined the Computer Science Department in Fall
09. Debaleena likes reading eclectic literature, with The Fountainhead still
topping her list; writing, which is presently limited to blogging only,
photography and
travelling. Debaleena believes that the two most precious things she has received from her
family are its roots and her wings. And she believes she is fortunate, that she has the
strength now to test her wings before she returns to her roots.

Jiemin Zeng, Grad Representative
Jiemin Zeng is a first year PhD student in Computer Science. She
obtained her bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at
UNC-Chapel Hill where she was also the president of the undergraduate
women in computer science club. When she is not working, Jiemin
enjoys jogging, watching TV, cooking/baking elaborate dishes, and
playing nerdy games with her friends.

Tinna Bustos, Undergrad Representative
Tinna is currently in her senior year of Computer Science.
She first became interested in computer science after taking a programming class at NYU in high school.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching old episodes of the Simpsons and playing PC games.
Jennifer Wong, Faculty Advisor
Jennifer Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department. She joined the department in the Fall of 2006. Her research interests include Non-parametric Statistical Modeling for Optimization Tasks, Wireless Distributed Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks and Embedded Systems and CAD.
