I'm a fifth year PhD candidate. As you can figure out from the photo, I'm from China. My first MS degree was awarded from Computer Science Department in Tongji University in 2001.

My current advisor is Dimitris Samaras. At the beginning, my reserach area was tracking for which my main work is a project from Brookhaven National Lab. About two years ago, I began my current research in Object Recognition which is funded by my co-advisor Greg Zelinsky.

Reserach interest include object recognition and detection, human and biological vision, machine learning, object tracking.
