A couple of people asked whether other books than the textbooks may be
allowed in the exam, since they do not have the book UML Explained.  I
looked and found that the other books have more examples than UML
Explained, which has basically just the notations and the simplest
examples.  So to be uniform and fair, the answer is no.  However, you
may copy any parts of UML Explained and bring with you.  I had given a
copy to the CS library; it is on reserve for 308.  Also, you can
always manually copy anything into your notebook and bring with you.
